New Horizons Realty Group | Website for a Real Estate Brokerage
How New Horizons Realty Group Went from a New Brokerage with No Web Presence to a CMS-Driven Website Built to Market Listings and Recruit Agents
Introduction
New Horizons Realty Group is a full-service real estate brokerage based in Waxahachie, Texas, serving Ellis County, Tarrant County, Johnson County, and the South Dallas area.
Founder Sylvia Flores is an experienced REALTOR who set out to build a brokerage that treats clients as people, not numbers. Her team helps buyers, sellers, and investors, and offers property management for landlords.
But as a new brokerage, New Horizons didn't have a web presence at all.
Sylvia is local, so we got to work through the strategy in person over coffee. It's a lot of what we do in Waxahachie.
Challenge
But New Horizons had a problem. A brokerage website has to do a lot of jobs at once, and they were starting from nothing.
It needed to market the brokerage itself as a trusted, local, full-service realty group. It needed to educate buyers, sellers, and investors, who each come in with different questions. It needed to showcase properties. And it needed to attract experienced agents to join the team.
On top of that, Sylvia didn't have website copy, a defined positioning, or the time to write it all herself while running a new business.
She needed a partner who could take the project from initial concept all the way through launch, and a website her team could keep updated as listings came and went.
Key Deliverables & Results
Took New Horizons Realty Group from initial concept through branding, copywriting, asset collection, design, and development in eight weeks.
It started with a strategy session. Sylvia and I met in person over coffee and worked through how to position the brokerage in the area, which set the direction for the market research and the copy.
Copy is one of the hardest parts of a website for most clients, so I did the heavy lifting. I wrote 95% of the copy for the site, optimized for the keywords her buyers, sellers, and investors search for. A few additions and tweaks from Sylvia later, it was ready for design.
Because the content came first, the design could be built around her marketing message instead of the other way around. I designed the site in Figma using the brokerage's existing logo colors, moving from wireframes to full pages with copy, color, and imagery, and refined it through several collaborative meetings.
Finally, I developed the site with a CMS that lets the team easily add and remove featured properties, plus dedicated pages for buyers, sellers, property management, and agents interested in joining.
New Horizons Realty Group got a personable, full-service website that markets the brokerage, educates every kind of client, showcases listings, and recruits new agents.
