Natural Texas Lawn Care | Web Design for an Organic Lawn Care Company
How Natural Texas Lawn Care Went from a Brand-New Startup to a Website That Explains Organic Lawn Care to Ellis County Homeowners
Introduction
Natural Texas Lawn Care is an organic lawn care company based in Waxahachie, Texas, serving Ellis County and the surrounding area.
Founder Austin Rollins started the company out of a desire to change the way people look at "conventional" property care. Austin is certified through the Texas Organic Research Center, and his team offers chemical-free lawn care, organic gardening and native plant consulting, and sick tree treatment, so families can enjoy a healthy yard without worrying about what's on it.
But as a brand-new startup, Natural Texas Lawn Care didn't have a website, a defined brand, or the words to explain what made them different.
Local startups need to look established from day one, and it's a lot of what we do in Waxahachie.
Challenge
But Natural Texas Lawn Care had a problem. Most homeowners have never heard of organic lawn care.
When people search for lawn care, they're comparing companies that spray chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Organic lawn care works differently. It builds healthy soil so the lawn takes care of itself, and it's safe for kids and pets. But if a visitor doesn't understand that, it just looks like one more lawn service.
On top of that, Austin was starting from scratch. There was no brand strategy, no website copy, and no design to build from.
He needed a partner who could take him through the whole process, position the company against conventional lawn care, and build a website that educates visitors without overwhelming them.
Key Deliverables & Results
Took Natural Texas Lawn Care through the full process, discovery, brand strategy, copywriting, design, and development, to launch their first website in Webflow in six weeks.
It started with discovery. Before any design work, Austin and I met so I could learn about him, the company, and the services he'd offer. We worked through a defined strategy process and landed on a position that set him apart from conventional lawn care companies and would attract local clients.
From there, I did market research and wrote the website copy. It followed an SEO strategy built around the keywords his customers search for, and it did the heavy lifting on education: explaining how organic lawn care works, why healthy soil matters, and why it's safer for families.
The design came next. Austin and I worked together in Figma through several rounds of iteration until he was completely happy with it. Color, typography, imagery, icons, and cards all work together to give the site an organic feel and make the information easy to take in.
Finally, I developed the site in Webflow, with dedicated pages for each service, an About page that puts Austin and his certifications front and center, and a blog for ongoing lawn care tips.
Natural Texas Lawn Care now has a clean, organic-feeling website that explains a lesser-known service in plain language and gives Ellis County families a safer alternative to chemical lawn care.
Results
Natural Texas Lawn Care launched with a brand, a message, and a website that match the company Austin set out to build. The site does the educating for him, so visitors understand what organic lawn care is and why it's worth switching before they ever pick up the phone.
In Austin's words: "He does a great job of explaining the entire process and was very patient. I'm fortunate to have found him, and can't recommend his company enough."
