Introduction

Fluid Line Solutions is the new name behind two North Texas hose and tubing shops: APB Tubes & Hoses in Lancaster and Bird's Hydraulics in Waxahachie.

With over 25 years of experience, their teams handle hose and line repair, rebuilding, and custom fabrication for automotive, trucking, oil and gas, and other industries. They're the only shop in Dallas and Ellis County with patented equipment to form and bend tubing up to 1 1/4", and they promise they can replicate 99% of hoses and tubing.

But when the two shops came together under one brand, their online presence was still split in two.

Local shops with more than one location run into this all the time, and it's a lot of what we do in Waxahachie.

Challenge

But Fluid Line Solutions had a problem. Their two stores each had their own website, one on WordPress and one on Wix, with different looks, different content, and no connection to the new brand.

Customers had no single place to learn about the company, find the right location, or see who they'd be working with. And the online shopping experience wasn't built to handle an inventory with thousands of fittings, hoses, and parts.

Merging the two also carried real risk. Both sites had existing search rankings, product data, and customer data that couldn't be lost in the switch.

They needed one website that introduced the new brand, gave each store its own home, and made it easy for customers to order parts online, without giving up the SEO both shops had already earned.

Key Deliverables & Results

Merged two websites on two different platforms into one Fluid Line Solutions brand, with a new marketing site in Webflow and a new online store in Shopify, over a 12-week project.

The first job was bringing the brand together. We reorganized the content from both sites and designed a clean, modern website that aligns the look and messaging across the informational pages and the store, so customers experience one company no matter where they land.

Each shop got its own location page with its specific offerings, hours, and team. A dedicated team page puts faces to the name, from leadership to the technicians at each counter, which matters for a business customers visit in person.

For ecommerce, we moved their store to Shopify and integrated it with the Webflow site. Products are organized into categories like hydraulics, automotive, trucking and air brake, brass, and welding supplies, so customers can find parts quickly and order 24/7. Shopify also gives the team solid tools for inventory management and sales tracking.

Behind the scenes, product and customer data was migrated from the old ecommerce platform to Shopify, and 301 redirects were set up from the old URLs to protect the search rankings both shops had built.

Fluid Line Solutions now has one website for one brand, with a home for each store and a Shopify store customers can order from any time.

Results

Fluid Line Solutions went from two disconnected websites to one clear online presence that matches their new brand. Customers can learn about the company, find the right shop, meet the team, and order parts online, all in one place, and the move kept the SEO both shops had already earned intact.
