Webflow Development

Introduction

Ash Wellness needed a website that matched the sophistication of their brand—and exceeded their old WordPress platform's limitations.

I partnered with The Working Assembly, a branding and design agency, to bring their vision to life. While The Working Assembly handled the branding and design, I led the entire development effort, building a custom Webflow site from the ground up.

The project involved migrating from WordPress to Webflow, creating a highly interactive, animation-rich experience that pushed the boundaries of what Webflow can do out of the box. The final site features 17 pages, a fully CMS-driven blog, custom navigation and footer menus, and numerous scroll-driven animations powered by GSAP and Swiper.js.

What makes this project stand out is the level of customization. From scroll-triggered content reveals to responsive sliders that adapt based on viewport size, every interaction was hand-crafted to deliver an experience that feels polished and intentional.

Project Goals & Challenges

Goals

Create a highly custom platform and reusable templates that empowers the Ash Wellness team to easily update content through Webflow's CMS—without sacrificing the sophisticated design and interactive elements that set their brand apart.

Challenges

The design pushed Webflow's native capabilities to the limits, requiring extensive custom code and CSS solutions to achieve the desired functionality. This wasn't a template drop-in project, it was a ground-up custom build.

Key Deliverables & Results

The project faithfully brought The Working Assembly's design vision to life.

To accomplish that vision, we included over 15 custom-coded features all built with GSAP, Swiper.js, and vanilla JavaScript.

All blog content was successfully migrated from WordPress, and despite pushing Webflow's native capabilities to the limit and requiring extensive custom code throughout, the project was delivered on time and faithfully brought The Working Assembly's design vision to life.
