Before I built websites, I built teams.

I spent four years in sales and leadership at a national recruiting firm, where I helped open the company's first satellite office in Dallas.

Then I pivoted — hard. I earned a Master of Divinity and later a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching.

For over a decade, I served as a Senior Pastor at two churches, leading teams, managing operations, and communicating to audiences every single week. Ministry taught me something most designers never learn: how to listen deeply, understand what people actually need, and craft messages that move them to action.

Throughout all of it, I kept creating. I ran a photography business on the side. I designed everything my churches needed — websites, print materials, signage, digital campaigns. I couldn't stop building things.

CL Creative started almost by accident in 2022. A friend needed website help. I delivered. I posted it. The messages started coming. One project became five. Five became twenty.

I moved from SquareSpace and WordPress to Webflow because I needed a platform that could match the designs in my head, and I've built in Webflow every day since.

Today, I work with service-based business owners — consultants, coaches, agencies, and founders — who are in growth-mode and are done with cookie-cutter websites that don't convert.

My clients want a partner who understands business strategy, not just design trends. Someone who will push back, ask hard questions, and build something that actually grows their business.
